Printing emails can be helpful when you need hard copies for documentation. You can print emails from a web-based email client or a desktop application. While there are too many different ways to access email to provide step-by-step instructions for all of them, this article will provide some tips to follow and official documentation.
Printing with a Keyboard shortcut
Lucky, most email clients will allow you to print emails with simple keyboard shortcut. Here’s how:
- Open your email and login.
- Locate the email you want to print.
- Once you have opened the desired email press Crtl + P (Command + P on a Mac).
- This will open your computer’s print dialog box and let you choose a printer.
- Once you have reviewed and adjusted the printing settings, click on the “Print” button to start printing the email.
- Depending on your printer settings and hardware, you may need to follow any additional prompts or confirmations on your computer or printer’s display.
