IT Service Areas

IT Shared Services is organized into the following Service Areas:

Enterprise Applications

The Enterprise Applications Team (EAT) provides an enterprise strategy for sustainable and interconnected systems. The Enterprise Applications Team values strong partnerships with application and process owners, and prioritizes strong systems governance.

Director of Enterprise Applications: Douglas Eastman

Enterprise IT Infrastructure

Wired and wireless networking, telephony, support for on-premise data center services, partner in cloud strategy, systems administration for key IT services.

Director of Enterprise IT Infrastructure: Charlie Bombard
Manager of Data Center/Systems Administration: Michael Martel
Manager of Network and Telecom: Tom Maguire

IT Professional Services

Budgeting and forecasting, alignment with strategic planning and Service Level Agreements, asset and procurement management, vendor management, soliciting input from governance structures, comprehensive project management services.

Director of IT Operations: Gayle Malinowski
Director of Project Management: Meg Walz

Learning Technologies

Provides support for A/V learning technology and academic applications, including training and support, manages LTI integrations. Direct partnership with Center for Teaching and Learning.

Director of Learning Technologies: Sarah Chambers
Manager of Academic Systems: Tony Harris
Manager of Learning Spaces: Tim Dusablon

Security

Supports a proactive security strategy including user education, policy development, vulnerability management, and ongoing technical solutions management.

Information Security Officer: Tony Hashem

Technical Support Services

Provides technical/helpdesk support to both VTSU and CCV communities in addition to providing support for all user endpoints.
