Contact Us
To maximize the efficiency of our staff and provide faculty and staff with speedy, reliable assistance, we ask that VSC faculty and staff submit requests for help through ServiceDesk. Our Helpdesk locations are open for walk-in help Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm.
Duo: Muti-Factor Authentication
Duo multi-factor authentication (“MFA”) has been enabled for all applications that utilize single sign-on including Portal, Canvas, Aviso, UKG, and Microsoft 365. In the past, this process was exempted when working on campus. At this point, Duo authentication is required any time you access these tools, regardless of location. It will be important to remember to bring your device with you if you need to log in from campus-based locations including offices and classrooms. Have questions about MFA? Check out our FAQ.
IT Resources & Support
Portal
In addition to being accessible via the web (https://portal.vsc.edu/), the VSC Portal is also accessible via a mobile app and is extremely mobile-friendly. For more information about accessing the portal and app visit: https://www.vsc.edu/new-portal/
VSC IT Knowledge Base
Our staff has been working hard to develop a one-stop shop for all things Information Technology: https://support.vsc.edu/. This space will continue to grow and change as we do!

Academic Applications Updates
Canvas
All VTSU courses will need to be published while all CCV courses will continue to be automatically published. Need assistance? Enter a work order at https://servicedesk.vsc.edu/.
Zoom/YuJa
Using the Zoom web conferencing system, VSC faculty and staff are able to host meetings and record either to the Zoom cloud or the host’s local computer. Zoom recordings are automatically moved to the YuJa platform and deleted from the Zoom cloud after seven days. We are in the process of developing data retention policies for videos stored in YuJa that support FERPA compliance and maximize our storage capacity.
