How SS&E is used
The Community College of Vermont (CCV) and Vermont State University (VTSU) use SS&E differently, and even call it by different names sometimes!
CCV SS&E (Watermark)
CCV students have a team to support them on their journey. Here’s how SS&E links students with their staff support team:
- Find email addresses for your advisor, financial aid counselor, and faculty.
- View tasks that you need to complete.
- Access college and community resources.
- View academic alerts.
- View course grades.
- View your semester schedule and unofficial transcript.
VTSU SS&E
VTSU Faculty Advisors and Academic Support Staff use SS&E to monitor student engagement with the goal of increasing retention and addressing academic challenges before they negatively impact a student’s educational experience.

Accessing SS&E
Whether you are a student, faculty, or staff member, SS&E can be accessed directly at https://vsc.avisoapp.com or https://ccv.edu/watermark, or from the tile on the VSC Portal.
Your access is based on your role at CCV or VTSU. If you can login to Canvas, you can probably login to SS&E, too.
